The Bottlers

We were formed in 1993. Our intention was (and still is) to bottle cask strength single Scotch Malt Whisky only of the highest quality and to bottle these casks in their pure state i.e. without dilution (hence at natural strength), without chill-filtering etc etc. We would thus utilise the many contacts in the Scottish whisky industry we had formed over the years in sourcing such high quality casks.

Our releases are not many because we reject more samples than we accept for bottling.

Our label was designed in-house and features a picture of the 17th century porterstone engraving that is on the outside wall of the famous Vaults building in Leith, Edinburgh, where we are based.

We also use a "straight" Cognac bottle (imported from France) into which we bottle the whisky. Our future is to continue in the same way and maintain the highest quality standards for all our bottlings.
